This tutorial will guide you how to bypass Google DNS on Linksys router.
1. Log in to your router
2. Go to “Advanced Routing”
3. Add to route list the following :
Route Name: google dns 1
Destination LAN IP : 8.8.8.8
Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.255
Default Gateway : your router’s IP
Click on “Save Settings”
Repeat procedure for Destination LAN IP: 8.8.4.4
Reboot router.
From now on, your router will re-direct every Google DNS queries for the Google IPs (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.) to your Routers default DNS IPs.
