We are glad to announce that we’ve just updated our Free VPN & Smart DNS software for Windows to version 4.0.0.3. If you using one of our preview version please upgrade. Here is what’s new and what you have to do to update!
What’s new in VPN & Smart DNS app?
– IKEv2 protocol added (pin 1)
– Protocols sorted by encryption level
– As you remember there was a “huge conflict” between our App Killer and Google Chrome. We fixed it. App Killer now is working fine with Chrome.
– Lots of other minor improvements, design optimizations and of course bugs fixes.
VPN & Smart DNS update process
If you are using an older version than 4.0.0.0 you will have to download the new one and install it manually. Please uninstall older version first. You can download new version here. If you are using our 4.0.0.1 or 4.0.0.2 versions you will see notification about available update. Simply press “Update” button (2).
Once it is downloaded you will be asked when to update: Immediately or after system restart.
