In order to improve our service we have setup a new US2 server and changed with existing one in Chicago. The new server is now available as us2.hideipvpn.com. New Server location is Los Angeles, CA.
How will this change your connection settings?
If you are connecting using the host name of the server, i.e. us2.hideipvpn.com, no changes have to be made on your side.
If you are located in China or in another country that blocks our website and you connect via the IP address of the server you will need to check the new IP addresses: https://www.hideipvpn.com/domain2ip.php. Those using OpenVPN make sure you use the proper config. Go to http://billing.hideipvpn.com/downloads.php (it requires login) and download OpenVPN config for China users.
