This tutorial will guide you how to bypass Google DNS on D-Link router.
1. Log in to your router
2. Go to “Advanced” section and select “Routing” tab
3. Add to route list the following :
Name : google dns 1
Gateway : your router’s IP
Name : google dns 2
Gateway : your router’s IP
Metric : 2
Destination IP: 8.8.4.4 Netmask : 255.255.255.255
And then click on “save Settings”
4. Reboot your router.
From now on, your router will re-direct every Google DNS queries for the Google IPs (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.) to your Routers default DNS IPs.
