Today we would like to inform you all about recent upgrades to our Smart DNS service, especially where geo restrictions are concerned. At the same time we though it is a good occasion to let new visitors know that they can easily deal with “region locked” information services they want to use serve them. Let’s start with add-ons. Those of you who use our VPN and Smart DNS do know, that we are trying hard to make our services as good as we only can. This is why we constantly think if there is any thing we can add, make more efficient, easier, etc. This is why we have decided that it is high time (before any of our customers would have an actual reason for complaints to upgrade our whole VPN network. Our blog is the best proof that we are serious about it. But we also offer you Smart DNS and this means we have to make this service the best we can. Because of that in recent days we have unblocked few new services.
First would be KlowdTV from US. Now, if you decide it is something you like you can not only watch it on all your devices but also anywhere in the world!
Secondly, we have made sure that previously unblocked services, earlier described as “unblocked for Windows” are now available via SmartDNS on wider range of platforms.
It is our great pleasure to announce that Absolute Radio, Filmon TV, Demand 5 and TV Player will now work smoothly on all your Android devices.

Region locked – what do I do?
If you have read what we wrote above you probably got the idea already, but let us be clear on the issue. “Locked region” message shows up on your device screen if you want to connect to desired service (like Netflix, Hulu, HBO Now) from region where it is not officially available. HideIPVPN offers you two ways to deal with problem like that – VPN or SmartDNS. Both will do the same thing but in a bit different way. VPN will hide an change your IP address and SmartDNS will redirect your traffic without any changes to your IP or without hiding your data. The best we can advise you is to simply try them (and remember – VPN packages come with Smart DNS included!) we recommend both to fight “region locked” restriction!
